MEGASTEP FRP
PLATFORM LADDER
Every part, labelled.
Five component groups — each engineered for its role. Integrated tool tray at the top, slip-resistance steps with deep-tread profiling, 7-layer FRP C-section rails, updated internal spreaders, and anti-skid rubber shoes at the base.
Certified for the heaviest industrial operations.
All 10 sizes, one view.
Every leaflet-certified size drawn to the same mm scale — with an 1800 mm user for human anchoring and dashed reference lines at standard residential (2400 mm), office (3000 mm) and commercial (4000 mm) ceilings.

FRP or Aluminium? 3 questions decide.
Will you work near live electricity?
Panels, substations, transformers, overhead lines — any energised equipment above 50 V AC.
Always 3 points of contact. Here's how.
One hand + two feet
Always keep three points of contact — one hand on a rail OR rung, both feet planted on a step. Move one limb at a time. Never two hands + one foot; never two feet + no hands.
Both hands on tools
Carrying tools in both hands breaks 3-point contact — if you slip, no hand is free to grab the rail. A common cause of fall incidents. Never climb with tools in both hands.
Use the integrated tray
Y Group's integrated tool tray keeps tools within reach while you keep one hand on a rail. Reach into the tray = still 3-point contact. This is why every FRP Single Side ships with one standard.
6 sites where non-conductive ladders matter.
Live Electrical Panel
Substation maintenance, MCC cabinets, distribution boards. Non-conductive FRP rails eliminate shock risk. ERDA-tested 62 kV dry / 40 kV wet.
Chemical Plant
Acid handling, solvent rooms, reactor vessels. FRP's 7-layer composite resists corrosion where aluminium oxidises in weeks.
Warehouse Racking
Pick-tower access, stock rotation, rack lighting. Lightweight enough to move between aisles. Integrated tool tray for scanners.
Data Centre
Overhead cable trays, rack-top patching, HVAC duct access. Non-conductive safety in case of electrical proximity.
Factory Maintenance
Overhead conveyor servicing, lighting change-outs, panel inspection. 300 mm step pitch for repeated climbs without fatigue.
Paint Booth & Fitout
Ceiling painting, signage install, interior finishing. Anti-skid rubber shoes grip dust-sheet and drop-cloth surfaces.
